The Truth About “Fitting Your Marketing” In

I’d Rather Sip My Coffee Than Scramble to Post a Reel

I don’t know about you, but the five minutes I have in the school pickup line? That’s my me time.

No one needs a snack.
No one needs their butt wiped.
No one is asking me what's for dinner.

What I’m NOT doing in that moment?
❌ Scrambling to throw together a Reel.
❌ Stress-commenting on 10 posts in my feed.
❌ “3-2-1” engaging my fingers off just to make the algorithm happy.

Because if your content strategy relies on cramming it into the random gaps of your day, it’s not a strategy—it’s survival mode.

Why “Just Fit It In” Doesn’t Work

Somewhere along the way, we were told that if we weren’t constantly doing something for our business, we were falling behind.

  • “If you don’t post daily, the algorithm will forget you.” (False. The algorithm doesn’t care. Your audience will forget you if your content sucks.)

  • “If you don’t engage for 30 minutes a day, no one will see your posts.” (False. If your messaging is clear and compelling, people WILL find you.)

  • “If you’re not spending hours on content, you must not want success badly enough.” (False. Content should be intentional, not exhausting.)

What to Do Instead

1️⃣ Plan Content With Intention – Set aside 10-15 minutes daily to create, refine, or repurpose content.
2️⃣ Ditch the Check-the-Box Posts – If you’re creating just to say you posted, it’s not worth your time.
3️⃣ Make Your Message Loud & Clear – Your Dreamy AF clients should immediately know who you are, what you do, and why they need you.

Your Next Step

Instead of scrolling for content ideas, spend 30 minutes planning three posts that actually serve your audience. No fluff, no stress—just impact.
